Roosevelt about the remix:
"Fred Falke is one of my all time favourite remixers, so putting out a new remix by him feels super special to me. Especially his remix for Whitest Boy Alive defined a specific moment in my youth, coming from an indie band myself and seeing what he is able to transform the music into. I love what he did with his 'Passion' remix, taking the track to a completely new level. I‘ve been playing it in all my DJ sets recently!"
Fred Falke about the remix:
"Passion has been bliss to remix, the original song has such a feel-good vibe! I chose to combine some hand-picked analogue pieces from my studio, like an original Minimoog model D for that unmistakable bass sound, and an original Linndrum drum machine, and recorded the piano parts on an exquisite Yamaha c7 grand piano from 1979, here in LA. Nile Rodger's guitar added the final touch to this feel-good, nu disco tribute to the west coast music from the late seventies.”
